As a Nevada born and based business, we are proud of our roots, proud of the background of our families, our community, and of the great State of Nevada. In our search for a new name, we looked to find one that embodies the core values and character of our firm. It was also important to choose a name that reflects the heritage we are so proud of. The Mountain Bluebird is the state bird of Nevada and is widely regarded as a symbol of new beginnings and happiness.

NIGC Annual Fee Calculation

The National Indian Gaming Commission is amending agency procedures for calculating the amount of annual fee a gaming operation owes to the NIGC. The amendment excludes certain promotional credits from the calculation of the annual fee a gaming operation owes. This change is effective October 6, 2022. NIGC 2022 Fee Rate and Fingerprint Fees

The National Indian Gaming Commission has adopted the following annual fees for FY22: Tier 1: 0.00% Tier 2: 0.08% Self-Regulation Class II Revenues: 0.04% The fee rates are effective November 1, 2021, and will remain in effect until new rates are adopted. These rates shall apply to all assessable gross revenues from each gaming operation under the jurisdiction of the NIGC. GASB Proposes Application Guidance on CARES Act and Coronavirus Diseases Issues

As part of its continuing efforts to assist state and local governments during the COVID-19 pandemic, GASB released a proposed staff Technical Bulletin containing application guidance related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) of 2020 and certain outflows incurred in response to the coronavirus.
