Purpose

The BlueBird Certified Public Accountants Scholarship for Native American Tribes was established to assist Native American Tribes by bolstering their scholarship program. For each academic year, the BlueBird Certified Public Accountants Scholarship for Native American Tribes will provide $5,000 to support a Native American Tribe’s scholarship program. The scholarship shall be granted to an eligible applicant on a yearly basis. Scholarships are open to Native American Tribes only.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Native American Tribe with a scholarship program in place.
  • Must be willing to attend NIGA’s annual Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention for the scholarship award ceremony.

Application Procedures

You may download the application below. All documents must be submitted online no later than March 6, 2020, to [email protected] by 5:00 P.M. PST on the deadline date. No faxed or late applications will be accepted. Applicants are responsible for following up on their application status with the Scholarship Coordinator.
